Big thank you to the Victoria Park Library and especially to Andrew (from Vic Park Library) for having me as a guest speaker there for NaNoWriMo. I do a LOT of public speaking at schools and libraries about being a writer and comics in general but this one was special for me because of one big reason…serious geeking out over HOW to write stories.
Because the crowd was there for National Novel Writing Month I got to get into the nitty gritty of story telling, structure and techniques and BOY did I enjoy it. It’s not often I get to really let loose and talk about the ins and outs of that side of what I do and it was thrilling to be able to geek out.
