I often get called upon to do school or library talks, it’s a real treat and I jump at the chance but I have to say, today was a real highlight.
I spent the whole day at Hale School here in Perth and gave four talks to four, equally impressive groups of boys. Hale School is quite an impressive place and they, commendably, put a lot of effort into their arts department.
I was asked to come in and talk about what I do and how I got to do what I do. The staff were amazing, the boys were impressive and obviously very sharp and I had an absolute blast. I got to chat about storytelling, Transformers, superheroes and exactly how the last Superman film completely missed the point. All in all a good day I’d say.
